This sweet thornless blackberry owes its 'Triple Crown' moniker to its three crowning attributes - excellent flavor, productivity and vigor! The jumbo-sized blackberries are firm and glossy, and as big as a quarter, sometimes larger. They're the best-tasting blackberry we've tried and have a wonderfully complex sweet flavor with no hint of the acidic tang that's present in other varieties. Triple Crown is also thornless-so picking is easy. Triple Crown begins to ripen in mid-July. The plants grow into 12- 15 ft., semi-erect canes with dense foliage that offers protection against sun scald. Zones 5-9.
